Becoming an LIC agent has always been one of the best options for people looking to make a decent income and raise their standard of living. However, since Covid-19 pandemic, becoming an LIC agent has become a very attractive option if you are looking for a career choice that is not dependent on the market and is always going to be in demand.
Whether you are a salaried person, a teacher, a shop owner, a doctor, a housewife (homemaker), or a chartered accountant, or even a lawyer - anybody can become an LIC agent and make good income in 2021!
If you are Class 10th Pass and minimum 18 years old, you can choose LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) agent as a career!
The process:
Normally, you would need to contact your nearest LIC branch office and meet the development officer there.
The Branch Manager will take your interview and if he/she is of the opinion that you are a suitable candidate then they will send you for a 25 hour training at a Department/Agency training centre.
This 25 hours of training will cover all aspects of the life insurance business. On successful completion of the training, you will need to pass the pre-recruitment test conducted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
Once you have cleared the exam, The Branch Office will issue you an appointment letter and an identity card.
You will get appointed as an agent by the Branch Office and you will be a part of the team under your Development Officer.
